About the Teacher
Shlomi Mir is a mindfulness / meditation teacher and coach focusing on the day to day applications of mindfulness. He has lead user experience research and product design teams at tech companies. He holds a Masters Degree in Human Computer Interaction, has extensive experience of meditation and retreat, and loves making meditation accessible to new learners.

Why I Made This Course
“I love technology, and chose to make it my career. I found myself using it constantly in my work, social life and free time, until it became a heavy burden. I have suffered from attention disorder (ADHD) and what I considered “screen addiction” for over a decade.
I finally discovered mindfulness, and the combination of awareness and compassion set me free…
“I love technology, and chose to make it my career. I found myself using it constantly in my work, social life and free time, until it became a heavy burden. I have suffered from attention disorder (ADHD) and what I considered “screen addiction” for over a decade.
I finally discovered mindfulness, and the combination of awareness and compassion set me free. I found myself able to accept and understand myself, and through this understanding choose when and how to work, play, and relate to others.
Seeing the deep value of this approach, I decided to help others. I continued my work in technology companies, began seriously studying Buddhism and cognitive science, and began teaching mindfulness part time. In time, the fusion of my deep understanding of technology, meditation, and human behavior enabled me to create this course.
I am currently traveling the world, teaching, learning, and helping others on their path.”
